Caleb Mission Newsletter 💌 The Second Week of July

Hallelujah! I pray that the God of peace is with you. I recently traveled to Mongolia to explore the area near the Chinese-Russian border to find new routes to rescue North Korean defectors. It's essential to save their lives and share the gospel with them.

Caleb Mission's purpose is to minister to North Korean defectors and spread the gospel worldwide. Your involvement and prayers in all of these efforts are making a substantial impact on many people's lives.

At this time, your prayers are of great importance. Recently, the Chinese government has been focusing on arresting and repatriating North Korean defectors. However, Caleb Mission is not giving up and is fully committed to its life-saving ministry.

I pray that by the time this video was released, the North Korean defectors being rescued had safely crossed the Chinese border. As I'm filming this video, North Korean defectors in China are attempting to escape. These sisters were sold to China against their will before the coronavirus outbreak. While living under persecution, they learned about Caleb  Mission and asked for rescue.

One of them was sold to a man with mental illness and forced to give birth to two children. As her husband's condition worsened, the beatings and violence became so severe that she felt like she would die if I continued to live like this, so I asked us to rescue her. The most problematic thing is that she could not leave her two children. 

There was significant concern regarding this situation. If the husband realizes his wife and children are missing and report it, everyone could be in danger. With the cost of rescuing North Korean defectors increasing more than tenfold, many things were complicated for us as well.

We have witnessed God working through our prayers, so we have chosen to persist in rescuing the woman and her children. We need your intercession and prayers to ensure they can safely travel to the Southeast Asia Center, encounter God, and become leaders in the gospel ministry.

Please join us in supporting Caleb Mission's efforts to rescue North Korean defectors, spread the gospel, and help them become self-reliant. Your prayers and contributions, no matter how small, are crucial in saving lives.

North Korean defectors, rescued last month, are finding joy and solace reading the Bible and expressing gratitude to God at the Southeast Asia Center. I believe that God will be happy to see them.

4. Lord, we pray for abundant peace for the workers serving North Korean defectors at Caleb Mission and their sponsors' families.
